ChatGPT SEO (ChatGPT Search and SearchGPT)

Help your business appear accurately in ChatGPT search, the feature that grew out of OpenAI's SearchGPT prototype.

ChatGPT can search the web and show sources alongside its answers. This feature began as OpenAI’s SearchGPT prototype and is now part of ChatGPT search. To be included, your pages must be reachable by OpenAI’s search crawler, and your content must clearly answer the questions people ask.

We check that your robots rules allow the right crawlers, make sure your site is well indexed by the search engines AI assistants draw on, structure key pages around clear answers, and strengthen your reputation on the sites these systems tend to trust.

No one can guarantee that an AI assistant will mention or cite a particular business. We improve the signals these systems rely on and measure what changes, and we explain the limits clearly.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is SearchGPT different from ChatGPT search?

SearchGPT was the name of OpenAI's 2024 search prototype. It has since become the search feature inside ChatGPT, so optimising for one means optimising for the other.

What is included in an SEO audit?

A review of how search engines crawl and index your site, the quality of your key pages, site structure and speed, and your visibility compared with competitors. You get a prioritised list of fixes with the reason for each.

Will you need access to my website?

For an audit we usually need read access to Google Search Console and your analytics. Access to your website itself is only needed if you want us to make changes for you.

How do you report progress?

In plain language. Reports focus on the things that matter to your business, such as enquiries and sales from search, alongside the work done and what comes next.
